Ash Wednesday - Hellbillies

Hillbillies and rural folk to tend have a bad rep in horror flicks. Don't believe me, look at Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Hills Have Eyes, and the Wrong Turn series. It seems the American wilderness is full of mutant hillbilly psychos. Tucker and Dale Versus Evil played nicely with this cliche'. Expect to see those two in a future Ash Wednesday post.

Evil Dead: Hail to the King featured deadite hillbillies, known as hellbillies. The Evil Dead remake also included creepy hillbillies, although they are revealed to be working against the evil of the book. Your Army of Darkness needs cannibal hillbillies too.
