Thanksgiving Mayhem - B/X and DCC

A few years ago I remember Pinnacle posting turkey standees around Thanksgiving. They included regular turkeys, cyborg turkeys, zombie turkeys, and giant demon turkeys,. While I don't have the file anymore I really got a kick out of it. I also remember the old Necromancer Game adventure Feast of the Gobbler, which is still available.

In honor of Thanksgiving I'm going to stat some monstrous turkeys for several systems. Today I present you with creatures from Feast of the Gobbler for B/X and Dungeon Crawl Classics.

The Gobbler
The Gobbler is powerful vrock. The overweight feathered fiend received his moniker because his penchant for gobbling up mortal souls. The gluttonous beast has recently (well recent from a demon's perspective) taken an interest in the mortal realm as it has realized that worship is power. If his plans are not stopped soon he will ascend to the rank of Demon Prince.

Gobbler Spawn
Gobbler spawn are vile creations of the Gobbler. These fowl two-headed creatures are demonically infused axe beaks. The creatures are surrounded by chaotic energy.

Move: 150' (50')                            Morale: 8
Attacks: 2 Biite                              Treasure Type: U
Damage: 1d6/1d6                          Alignment Chaotic

Gobbler spawn can only be hit by magical weapons.

Dungeon Crawl Classics
Init +3, Atk beak +5 (1d6+2); AC 15, HD 4d6, MV 50', Act 2d20; SP: The Abyssal energy that surrounds the Gobbler spawn damages opponents in melee combat with it. Opponents take 2 damage each round they are engaged. SV: Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +4; AL C.

When killed the Gobbler dissipates into a cloud of green mist that smells of rotting meat.

Dirty Birds
Dirty birds are degenerate cultists that worship the Gobbler. The Gobbler has "blessed" them with the power of his fowl servants.
