October Horror Movie Challenge - Black Sheep (2006)

Synopsis: An experiment in genetic engineering turns harmless sheep into blood-thirsty killers that terrorize a sprawling New Zealand farm.

The Good: It's a zombie movie, but with sheep. It's also a werewolf movie, but with sheep. It's a horror comedy full of gore, but with sheep. It's like a classic Peter Jackson movie, but with sheep.

Yeah it's a one note joke, but goddamn it works. Seriously though, this is a fun movie. The acting is good. The gore effects are wonderfully gruesome. Oh yeah and there's sheep fucking references.

The Bad:  It's a zombie movie with sheep.

Final Thoughts: If you want something different or are a fan of early Peter Jackson stuff (particularly Brain Dead), check this one out. I don't think you'll be disappointed You can normally snag a copy on Amazon for 10 bucks or less (worth it).

In Your Game: These things are just begging to be added to an Army of Darkness game that makes a stopover in New Zealand. Give them a supernatural origin and they'd make an interesting addition to a Ghosts of Albion game that makes a stop in Scotland.
