While I have friends that have ran them, I don't typically run adventure paths. I take that back, outside of a few sessions of Kingmaker, I've never ran an adventure path. I own all of Skull and Shackles, but I could never get a group together to play it. That being said, I'm really contemplating picking up Pathfinder's next, Giantslayer.
A whole Against the Giants-esque campaign? Sounds fun to me. I've come to realize that giants are a lot of fun and I've only recently starting using them. This AP will feature so many giants! How many kinds you ask, check out this little blurb from the Paizo blog:
"The Giantslayer Adventure Path features an almost bewildering variety of Brobdingnagian foes for your PCs to battle and slay, from old favorites like hill giants, stone giants, frost giants, fire giants, cloud giants, and storm giants, to less common colossi like cave giants, marsh giants, slag giants, and ash giants, not to mention cyclopes, ettins, ogres, trolls, and more. We've even got a couple of all new giants—the mongrel giant and the tomb giant—making appearances in Giantslayer, so be sure to take a look at the bestiaries for this AP."
I'm loving my 5E game, but when it's over I might see if the guys want to play some Pathfinder.
(The last few weeks have been rather busy, which is why there wasn't a new Ash Wednesday post yesterday. It will be back next week.)
