Day 6 - What is the most amazing thing that you know a game group has done for their community?
I don't know many personal stories about gaming groups helping communities or individuals. Don't get me wrong. The folks I play with are great people and *insert cliche about being generous*. I just can't think of particular occurrences right now. That being said I know of a few products that were written to help those in need. Here are a few that I can think of (though most of them are no longer pay what you want).
Bad Myrmidon
Swords Into Plowshares
Chuck's Dragons
There are also the various charity D&D games through Child's Play. Also, let's not forget the charity money raised through the Bundle of Holding.
