Afterlife With Archie - The Riverdale Dead

The zombies of Afterlife with Archie are similar to classic Romero shamblers, but there's a bit more to them. While the malevolent force behind the zombie plague hasn't been revealed (as of the issues I've read), there is a dark intelligence that's reanimating the zombies. Jughead has shown to be able to lead the dead. It should be noted though that this is just Jughead's animated corpse, the souls of those killed by the Riverdale dead become ghosts (Ghost Jughead has made an appearance). Also it seems that the Riverdale Dead can't be "killed." You can put them out of commission, but you can permanently put them to rest.
