The answer is yes, apparently. Stuff of Legends is a new miniseries (?) by Jovenshire and has an official partnership with D&D. Here's the trailer which discusses the premise.

I mean, I'm morbidly curious. The humor looks pretty high school-ish, but I do love puppets. The first episode debuts tonight. I might check it out.
