D is for Doomsayers

It's not heard to see why someone would think the world is coming to an end in your average Gunzo!: True Vigilante #1 game. Crime runs rampant and regular people are scared. There's a precedent for doomsayers in comics too. Walter Kovacs of Watchmen is a prime example.

Doomsayer: Init +1; Atk homemade sign +1 melee (1d2); AC 11; HD 1d6; MV 30; Act 1d20; SP immune to all charm, persuasion, and intimidation checks; SV Fort +0, Ref +0, Will +3; Chaotic or Lawful

Doomsayer Fanatic: Init +3; Atk sniper rife +5 or +8 to hit (3d6); AC 14; HD 4d6; MV 30; Act 1d20; SP immune to all charm, persuasion, and intimidation checks; SV Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +5; Lawful

Most doomsayers are crackpots that believe the end is near. This leads them to ignore all forms of coercion. Occasionally a doomsayer gets a mission to save the world and a sniper rifle, much to the distress of any sane citizen.
