The Devil Made Me Do It

Dutch pro wrestler, Tommy End,  wrestled in the WWE as Aleister Black for five years. While he did some great stuff in NXT, he was definitely wasted on the main roster. He was recently let go and reportedly due to a royal fuck up by someone at the company only had a 30 day non-compete clause in his contract, rather than the typical 90 day for someone of his talent. This made his debut on AEW (my wrestling promotion of choice) surprising. He created a short horror film called The Devil Made Me Do It based on his past and his new character, Malakai Blacks. I would embed the Instagram post but I can't the html to work correctly.

The Devil Made Me Do It

This is a cool short video. If you're a fan of Black, you'll get most of the references. The doctor says he's been there for five years (his WWE tenure). They talk about his eye and he blames Matthew and stairs. In a storyline wrestler Buddy Murphy (who's real name is Matthew) blinded him temporarily by slamming his eye/face into ring steps.

Also, if you're curious, this was his in ring debut of the character.
