What's worse than a Nazi villain? A Nazi villain made up of sentient bees! That's Swarm

Unique Abilities:
Hive Mind: As long as one of Swarm's bees survive he can reform in time. His connection to insects gives him an advantage to control them. He can use his Animal Handling skills to affect insects. He gains Advantage on these rolls. However, other animals are frightened by his nature and he gets Disadvantage on rolls involving them.

Swarm: Swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa. When Swarm moves through a creature's space he may make a free Stinging Strike attack. Additionally any creature starting it's turn occupying the same space as swarm takes 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage (plus Poison) Swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny insect. Swarm can't regain hit points or gain temporary hit points unless present with a large swarm of wasps/hornets/bees.

Poison: Anyone damaged by Swarm's stings must make a Constitution save (DC 15) or gain the Poisoned condition until they take a short rest.

Actions:
Stinging Strike: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage (plus Poison).

Adventure Hooks
  • Swarm is stealing pieces of technology to boost his abilities. If he is successful he will gain the ability to summon a plague of insects (as the 5th level spell Insect Plague)
  • Swarm is offended by those he says as degenerates to the master race celebrating and attacks some sort of celebration with a group of giant mutant stinging insects.

  1. He's surprisingly dedicated to the Nazi ideals of racial purity for someone who's composed of bees wrapped around a human skeleton. Presumably he thinks they're Aryan bees?
