Told Ya Comic Books Was Bad For Ya!

Back in February I created a Shazam/Freddy Krueger villain for Vigilante City based on this art. You can read that post here.

I know I'm a huge horror fan, but full confession I've never seen A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. I didn't realize Super Freddy actually appeared in a movie. I honestly just thought the above picture was a cool piece of art.

Here's the scene from the flick:

I decided to recreate my version of Super Freddy for 5E. If you want a more classic 5e take on him, check out BenDjinn's post (though I think the challenge listed for it is too low).

Background
Freddie Craven was a bullied kid from a Eastern slums of Victory City. He always dreamed of getting revenge on those that ridiculed and mocked him. His dream became the nightmares of his tormentors when a slumber demon from another dimension visited him and offered the power to hurt those that hurt him. When young Freddie Craven says the magic phrase "One, two, Freddy's coming for you" he is transformed into the hideous and powerful, Super Freddy! Gifted with super strength, intangibility, incredible speed, flight, and a flesh-ripping claw, Super Freddy terrorizes the slums.

  1. Copy-paste error in the Uncanny Dodge block there, referencing the Batman Who Laughs rather than Super Freddy. Amusing to me, since BWL is one of very few characters in all of fiction I dislike more than Freddy. They're both childish trash, but the former also pisses on a reasonably interesting character just by existing.

Fun fact, Freddy can only count to ten. "Eleven, twelve, ah crap nothing rhymes with twelve!"

    1. Thanks for pointing out the copy-paste error. I do that to keep uniform presentation, but occasionally I miss things.

While I don't mind them, I think your critiques of the characters are absolutely valid.
