The Ripper's Return appears in Mystery Tales #16.
The Karvel Process is a procedure that allows spirits of the past to inhabit the minds of those that have suffered severe mental trauma. The spirit overtakes the body and makes the indivually truly believe they are the spirit. C.A.R.E. has heard rumors that the process has survived Dr. Karvel's untimely death.
