Dr. Drew, Stalker of the Unknown appears in several comics and stories, though I first encountered him in Eerie #08.
In a What Shadows Hide game, I'd say Dr. Drew is a level 10 paranormal investigator. He's been in the game for many years and seen many things. He has had many adventures and made many friends and enemies over the years. He would be an excellent mentor or every patron for a group of characters.
