The Thrice-Whipped Ass

Not sure why I picked up it up, but recently grabbed The Thrice-Whipped Ass pdf on DriveThruRPG. Don Stroud wrote and did the layout for this short (4 page) drop-in mini adventure/plot. Adam B. Forman did the one illustration for the product and it's quite striking, which might be why I grabbed it. It's written for Ruination Pilgrimage, a game I know nothing about, but can be easily adapted to any fantasy game.

 

The Thrice-Whipped Ass is a tavern which has recently been the site of eldritch combat. The owners recently discovered a strange youth with no memory. Needing money the owners have started a fight club in their basement using the surprisingly strong youth. There are random charts to figure out why the party is there and one with clues and hooks.

No matter what happens, the players will eventually have to face the demon empowering the youth. For demon stats, use whatever is appropriate to your characters' level. No matter what plan I go with (I have a few paths I'm thinking about in the game I'll be starting soon), I'll be dropping the Thrice-Whipped Ass into my game.
