Background: Unlike many of his nerdcore bretheren Mikal kHill doesn't have an elaborate or traumatic origin story. Somewhere long ago, one of his ancestors married a deep one. Generations later the tainted blood manifested in Mikal and gave him amphibian-like powers. Mikal (or Manphibian as he's known among the superhero community) is also different from his fellow members of N.E.R.D.Corps because he's a family man. Due to this reason he tends to fight crime less than the others, but is always willing to leap into action when called upon.
