The Good: The film starts with references to 2000 Maniacs (another crazy southerner horror flick), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Blacula. I liked the hillbilly zombies. Roach was my favorite, especially with his songs. The demolition derby scene was cool, but I would have liked to seen it extended. There were some grisly scenes that would make any horror fan laugh with glee, in particular the jerky scene.
The Bad: While I felt bad for Norma, the first part of the movie could have been much shorter. The movie was dreadfully dull until the trailer trash dead showed up. In general the cast is forgettable. It's your typical group of trouble teens that you don't care about. One of the troubled teens is there because he's gay. He tries to be a good guy and take up for one of the the other teens. Other than being a bit of a coward, he doesn't really do anything to deserve his fate. That bugged me.
Final Thoughts: This one wasn't great, but it wasn't awful either. If you get a chance to watch it for free, go for it. I wouldn't pay more than a few bucks for the opportunity to watch it (I got it in 2 pack that also had a copy of P2).
In Your Game: The trailer park would make a nice intro to an Army of Darkness game. Hellbilly to zombie/deadite hellbilly is a small step.
