The Ghostbusters reboot releases in the states tomorrow (well tonight at most cinemas) so I thought I'd share some ectoplasmic love. I'm really interested in the movie. There are things I don't like about it (namely that it's a reboot and not a sequel), but I think it has a lot of things going for it.
West End Games had two editions of a Ghostbusters rpg back in the 80's. From what I've read the system was simple, but enjoyable. Unfortunately, these days copies of the core rules are ridiculously expensive. If you want a fun, simplistic system to play Ghostbusters but don't want to spend 200 dollars for the boxed set on eBay, check out +Jonathan Linneman's Ghosthackers.
If Cinematic Unisystem is more your style you can check out David Goodner's Spook Stoppers. I couldn't find the link on David's page anymore, but I've still got a copy on my Google drive. Here's the shareable link.
