Father Bryn Bear is a servant of the sun god and most prominent preacher in the region. A kind and handsome man in his 40's, he leads his congregation from Fork Chapel, located on a beach on the southern bank of the Oh'yio, across from Portsmaw. It is on this south shore that he and the faithful maintain a small conservative community. The group welcomes all residents, though to dwell among the faithful you most follow the rules and at least pay lip service to their old time religion.
Bear's chief rival is Boss Tide. While he doesn't know the fiends origins he's suspects the fishy philanthropist has abyssal ties. Since losing his chief disciples (and close cousins) while investigation Knotaway. He has become more cautious with his relief missions, often hiring unaffiliated adventurers and mercenaries. He also has his hand full keeping his more zealous followers from aggressively proselytizing the residents of Portsmaw.
Father Bear is a 5th level preacher (local cleric variant). I will give him stats once Swords & Wizardry Continual Light is released.

You do a great job giving personality to your RPG stuff with...well, actual personalities (like Cade last year). That's a cue I need to take, as I tend to view a lot of background stuff as just window dressing.

Thanks. I've always just gravitated towards character stuff. I was the kid that watched Star Wars and wondered what the story of random alien 3 in the cantina was.
