October Horror Movie Challenge - Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016)

Synopsis: A plague has turned most of the residents of English into a zombies in this humorous and action packed adaptation of Seth Grahame's parody of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

The Good: The animated opening describing the zombie plague and setting up the plot is fantastic, especially with Charles Dance narrating it. There is some decent action and the humor of the film works overall. They ladies are quite attractive (as are a few of the gents).

The Bad: The tone of the film is inconsistent, which is kind of disappointing. The zombie snot bubble at the beginning of the film was really stupid and still bugs me.

Final Thoughts: This really isn't a good movie, but I enjoy it. The Jane Austen bits feel like the cliff notes version, which works for the movie, though might disappoint actual Austen fans.

In Your Game:

I'm tinkering around with a setting idea for Zombies!! 2nd edition based on this. A zombie setting based on the idea that the British Empire accidentally spread a zombie plague during the early 19th century.
