Dare You Enter The Temple of the Hamster?!

That's not going to end well.
Temple of the Hamster is a third party DCC adventure written by Daniel Vance of Vance Games. I picked this up at Daniel's stomping grounds, Gateway Games & More, last year and realized I hadn't reviewed it for your fine folks. Let me start out by saying this adventure is fucking nuts. I mean that in the best possible way too.

The premise is pretty simple. The characters are incarcerated in the city of  Kamis for some reason (there's a list of reasons in the book). They are offered a pardon in return for figuring out and stopping whatever is causing a string of murders in old town. Unfortunately for them and all involved the murders are being committed by sentient hamsters who still faithfully follow their bloody, violent hamster god.

If you can't tell, this adventure is pretty silly. The parties will a variety of memorable and unique hamsters, witness gladiator toddlers, fight giant hamster balls, and possibly learn the dreaded Hamsters Style of fighting. If you don't mind interjecting some absurdity into your game you should definitely pick this one up. It also makes for a great one shot because there are pre-gens in the back of the book. While I've not run this yet, when I do I plan on having the hamsters be the cast out kin of Primals.
