Plot
A cruel prince terrorizes the peasantry near his village. He conducts satanic rites and commits debauchery at a masquerade while the plague seizes his domain.
Review
This Roger Corman flick is a fun adaptation of Poe's work. The film is worth watching for Vincent Price's phenomenal performance and the vile and wicked Prospero. He's vulgar and evil. He does horrific acts. Yet he's also intelligent and philosophical about the nature of evil. I have to say, if you're going to watcha Poe adaptation, this is probably the most fun.
In Your Game
If you want to add Prospero to your 5e game just use the Noble stats from the Monster Manual with the following changes.
Medium, humanoid (human), lawful evil
Add Religion +3 to skills.
