Twelve Days of Sweet Christmas - Candy Cane Stake

Candy Cane Stake (Weapon, Legendary)

Few know of Dracula's attack on the North Pole or how close darkness came to develop the world one Christmas Eve. The Lord of the Vampires and Saint Nick fought ferociously. Father Christmas finally prevailed, using the North Pole sign itself to stake the Impaler. This act imbued the decorated would with great power. Dubbed the Candy Cane Stake, it is now a tool vampires fear.

The stake can be used as a spear. It provides it's bearer with a +3 bonus to hit and damage. The weapon deals two extra die of damage to vampires (and one extra die to other undead). The wielder is immune to all natural and magic fear and gains dark vision of 60 ft. In addition, when the wielder scores a critical hit they regain 1d8+Cha modifier HP.

Being a tool created to defend good, it will not strike anyone with a good alignment (unless they are undead).
