October Horror Movie Challenge - Porno (2019)

Plot

Set in a small uber conservative town in the 90's, five teens that work at a movie theater discover a mysterious film and unwittingly summon a succubus. 

Review

I enjoyed this one. Having been the religious type in my youth, parts of this felt very familiar. I feel like I knew these teens. Also, while I know some great Christian folk, I'm also quite familiar with the hypocrisy presented in this one. I liked the cast. They have their own flaws, but you root for them to pull through this one. There are some fun and gross gags in this one. The injuries look particularly gnarly. Some great work is done on the prosthetics. I'm a fan of cursed media movies. The one in this movie is interesting. The porno is shown and it's very trippy. This one is currently on Shudder and worth a view if you want a sex-related horror comedy.

This character must make a mental or magic saving throw or be seduced, desiring only to have sex with Lilith. Asexual characters can make this saving throw with advantage. Lilith is immune to non magical damage while outside of her natural form. There is a mystical bell that will cause her to return to this form. While in this form if she is killed with the ritual dagger that was used to summon her, she will once again become trapped in the film, otherwise she will reform in 24 hours.
