Background
Dara is a near immortal viking who grew up in a the village of Tine, located in a secret valley in Northern Greenland. The village had been settled in 1361 by here father, Druil the Heroic. Dara and her father were the keeper of the Golden Bow of Rolfe, a mystic artifact sought by Sylf, the evil chief of a rival tribe. The tribes would have continued to remain in isolation if Master Sergeant Peter Sparling hadn't pursued a downed Vulture into a mysterious cave complex. The soldier discovered Dara and her village and was immediately smitten by her strength and beauty. During his time in Tine, he captured Vulture and aided Dara's village in a battle with Sylf, whom he also captured. Longing to see the greater world she left her village and journeyed to America with Pete. There she joined Project Second Chance as Pete's second-in-command. While she still believes that Project Second Chance has potential to do some real good in the world, she ultimately left the group to join the current Guardians of Terra.
