100 Days of Halloween: Day 8

The cover doesn't relate to any of the stories inside, but I loved it and wanted to make stats for the skeletal conductor. You can check out the full issue here.


Skeletal Conductors conduct the symphony of the night. Their unholy music grants strength and restorative magic to undead, specifically animated skeletons. They are nearly always encountered with 2d4 skeletal orchestra members (use my skeletal piper stats).

Hit Dice: 5
Move: 12
Actions: 1
Attack: Necrotic Baton (1d6)
Attack Description: An unearthly wave of cold washes of the creature as the baton's touch drains their life force.
Special: While conducting music all undead in the conductor's presence heal 1d6 hit points on it's turn. Skeletons heal an additional 1d6 hit points (for a total of 2d6 on the conductor's turn).  Also, like all skeletons, skeletal conductors take half damage from piercing and slashing weapons.
Bonuses: +1 to Melee attacks, +5 to Music
Morale: 8
Terror: 9
HDE: 4
