100 Days of Halloween: Day 12

The Man In Black is the titular character of his own series. This is the first panel of his first issue, which can be read here.



The Man in Black, or M.B. as Venus and the Weaver call him, is a divine agent of misfortune. He could be Loki, Hermes, or any other trickster deity. Keeping with the Halloween horror theme, I propose that the Man in Black is a guise of the Outer God, Nyarlathotep. In What Shadows Hide this would mean his followers are the Crawling Chaos Cult. You could use The Black Man aspect of Nyarlathotep to represent his followers, which can be found on page 63 of the Cthulhu Sourcebook
