I've read both parts of each of these stories and they are fan-f*ckin-tastic! Honestly all of the Space Goat Publishing Evil Dead 2 comics are great. The series has an interesting twist (which I'll talk about in the first Ash Wednesday post of 2017).

My version of Krampus is based on the two issues of Evil Dead 2: Revenge of Krampus. This Krampus is a former pagan witch deity that was given the task of scaring bad children straight when the "one god" came into power. This Krampus is a good guy. He'd make a great PC if you're going to do an X-Mas Army of Darkness game. For a more magical (and classic) cinematic unisystem take on Krampus, check out +Timothy Brannan Krampus for Ghosts of Albion post. Also, check out my Santa's Slay quicksheet and X-Mas themed Deadite powers.
Nice Krampus there!
ReplyDeleteThe Revenge of Krampus story was great. It was written similar to a classic superhero fight story. Ash fights Krampus because he thinks he's hurting the kid. Krampus fights Ash because he thinks he's the real Ash (who did some nasty things to Krampus in his youth). Eventually they realize they're both wrong. In the end they stop fighting, share some brews, and watch tv.
