Bessie's bite drains two levels of experience from a victim. Those reduced to levels in this manner become wampire (lesser vampires) under the control of Bessie. These lost levels are not permanent and regained at the rate of one level per night of rest.
Bessie's vampire cape allows its wearer to grow large bat wings and a Fly speed of 18.
Anyone drinking Bessie's milk heals 2d6 HP.
Bessie can be killed by immersing her in running water. She takes 2d6 damage per round immersed. She can also be killed by severing her head or being exposed to sunlight (5d6+5 damage per round). Unlike other vampires, she can be held at by crosses.
