Review
Most direct-to-dvd Scooby-Doo movies are okay, but few are actually great. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island is an exception to the rule. Moonscar Island is a cool setting with a great history. The cast of characters are interesting. The music is fun and I get the songs stuck in my head. If you are a fan of Scooby-Doo and haven't seen this one, you definitely should check it out. In addition to the traditional folks in mask, you also have zombies, ghosts, werecats, and voodoo.

The residents of Moonscar Island are immortal cultists to a cat goddess. They have the ability to take on a werecat form under a full moon. To maintain their immortality they must sacrifice other to their goddess in a moonlight ritual.
This was a big deal for us fans of the cartoon when they released it - it was the first time the monsters were real! When Fred realizes that he can't take the zombie's mask off it's like the coyote catching the roadrunner
