Review:
This movie is by the lords of the mockbuster, The Asylum. If you know who they are, then you get an idea of what to expect. I picked it up because it stars wrestler Johnny Morrison/Nitro/Mundo/Impact. Morrison plays a wise cracking and ass kicking descendant of the legendary Sinbad. He's an interesting protagonist. As one of the characters (a genie) mentions, he's a hero pretending to be a rogue. Morrison is an excellent athlete. His fight scenes look great because fake fighting is his main job. He's also great at parkour. He's not the greatest actor, but he's fun and up to the B movie standards. The major issue with the movie is the budget. The CGI looks cheap and there are only a couple of sets. The opening credits is pretty pathetic looking too. That being said, overall this is a pretty decent movie. It's not going to be one for everyone, but I liked it.
In Your Game:
Sinbad's Blade
Weapon (scimitar), Legendary (requires attunement)
This mythic scimitar grants a +2 bonus to hit and damage while being wielded. Attacks made with it critical on natural roll of 19-20. Also the blade grants the following ability:
Deflect (Reaction) - Add +2 to to your AC against one ranged attack that would hit. If the attack would miss, you may make a ranged melee attack against one target within 30 ft. If the attack hits it does damage equal to the original attack.
