The Frogman is featured in Forbidden Worlds #29.
If you would like to add the Frogman to your SURVIVE THIS!! game, the Deep One or Gill Creature stats from the What Shadows Hide: Cthlulhu Sourcebook would be approrpriate.

I've been reading several new-to-me miniseries recently (such as The Craptacular B-Sides). Another one I really enjoyed was Deadline. It was a 2002 miniseries that focuses on a young reporter at the Daily Bugle that focused on capes (her derogatory name for heroes and villains), though she didn't like them. One of the fun parts about the series for me was that it showed the business and other side of a super powered world. For example she goes to the Bar With No Name, a hangout spot for criminals, to get info. She also visits a back alley doctor who's primary clientele is made up of villains, and a tattoo shop for capes who can do tattoos on even the most durable because the owner has a tattoo gun with an adamantium tipped needle.
Maybe it's just me, but I think things like this really make a setting feel alive. I can think of other random products and foods available in series that I like. For example, Young Justice has a snack called Chicken Whizees that always sticks out to me when mentioned. A bag of them was even used to advance the plot in the latest season. I've had things like that in my own games that have stuck out. FreedomO.P.S., my long term Mutants and Masterminds 2e game I ran back in the day had a reoccurring franchise. Though the game was primarily set in Freedom City, there were a few sessions that took the team to Bedlam. The city had a group of Chuck E. Cheese style restaurants that served Gopher Shakes and Pizza Buckets (aka Pizza Napalm). For some reason, our Iron Man/Green Lantern mashup really took to it and started flying to the city just to snack. This (and Five Nights At Freddy's) served as inspiration for Galaxy Gopher's Pizzeria.
Do you ever use things like this in your games, particularly modern ones? Do you think it makes things more grounded or is it empty setting info that no one needs?
Looking back through my blog and Facebook albums I believe I started participating in 2018. I've had a good time at it, though sometime it can feel like a chore. That being said I'm almost guaranteed to participate again next year. I enjoy reading what other folks have to say and I feel like I'm I'm going to benefit from it, I should participate.
Lately I've been hitting the dollar bins at my local comic shop. Just picking up random odds and ends that strike my fancy. Occasionally I'm able to find a complete miniseries, which is pretty cool. Marvel's The Craptacular B-Sides was one of those miniseries. The story takes place in Raven's Perch, a New Jersey community with a higher than normal metahuman population. The B-Sides are a group of disenfranchised youth who are talked into creating a supers team, by a local con-man. They tangle with a local villain, fight some kree and skrull, and meet the Fantastic Four. If you don't mind the offbeat sense of humor and art, this is a fun series. Other than a Marvel Handbook, only one of the B-Sides is mentioned outside of the series (and it's only in a Civil War tie-in). Honestly, I'd watch a B-Sides tv series in a heartbeat and it would be a fun way to have a more grounded take on the MCU.
I decided to stat the B-Sides, because it's fun and it will let me stat some supers of a power level I don't normally address.
As usual, I tend to agree with Tim on this one. I think the idea needs to be promoted more. This could means having it's own Twitter or Youtube page. A Twitter account in particular would be a great place to share posts others have made using the hashtag. I also think having the posts focus on positivity and inclusion is good. Let's make the hobby better for everyone. Finally, drop the "5 W's and 1 H" format. I wasn't a big fan of this years style of questions.
The Green Horror can be found in Fantastic Fears #08. I've previously statted this for Lamentations of the Flame Princess and done another version of the Army of Darkness RPG.
The Dorsett Monster originally appeared in Haunted Thrills #17
Lately I’ve really been digging Divide. I first heard him do guest vocals on JT Music’s Fortnite live action video. Found out a few years back he did a series of My Hero Academia tracks. I have feeling eventually they will all be feature in Music Monday posts. I figured I’d start with his All-Might song, One For All.
Once again, I'm not tagging folks because its intrusive. These are a few of my all time favorite RPG covers.
Found this piece by Brendan Tobin and had to share in honor of the King’s birthday.
When Ulic started his adventuring career he saw things in black and white. As he traveled more he learned that it was possible for bad people to do good things. He also became less naive about how the world works. Last time I used Ulic he’d also become a bit less free spirited, because of the loss of his family (whom he believed were dead but were actually transported to an alternate dimension).
This is a cool little video Marvel released featuring cosplayer Binkxy talking about her Squirrel Girl.
I love apes. I love monkeys. It then probably doesn't come as a surprise that I love Hit-Monkey. While I don't know much about his comic book antics (I only have issue three of his original miniseries), I LOVED season 1 of Hulu's Hit-Monkey. He seemed like a fun character to give 5e stats to.
I decided to post both pages of this story because I love hillbilly and witch content, and I know some of you do too. This originally appeared in Adventures Into The Unknown #17.
Going to continue with Ulic for this one. Ulic was born on the Sword Coast. He's traveled across Faerun and visited most of the continents and major cities. He's also been to the Astral Plane and was trapped in the Abyss for a while.
This new 5e supers archetype was inspired by Captain Carrot, Spider-Ham, and all the other cartoon superheroes that occasionally crossover into more mainstream continuities.

The infamous Burke and Hare are featured in Exposed #01.
I don't like this week's line of questioning. I don't have a character character, so I can't really answer. I'll just go with a random character I love. I started Ulic Razorwing when I was in high school. While I had to write some things in on the character sheet he was made with the character creation software that came with the D&D 3.0 Player's Handbook. I'm pretty sure it was 2001, because our friend Josh was the first to get the books and he got them for Christmas the year they came out.
Bloat Games currently has a Kickstarter for a DCC conversion for their totally-not-Legend-of-Zelda monster manual zine. I think this is a great idea considering DCC fans love nostalgia. The DCC conversion has been done by Jeff Scifert. If you aren't familiar with Jeff, he's edited several Goodman Games DCC books, Weird Frontiers, and the Planet X Games DCC/MCC conversions. I was given a sneak peak of the pdf and I think it would be a great addition to any DCC collection. There are 30 or so monsters of various power levels (including a few boss monsters).
Check out the DCC Overworld Kickstarter here. You can read my review of the other versions here.
Here are some very punchable thugs for your 5e supers game. Also, Reverend Blackburn would be a good statblock used to represent a Richard Spencer-esque Neo-Nazi.
I really like this cover of Nightmare #11. As I mentioned in a previous post, no need to post stats, because mummies already appear in SURVIVE THIS!!.
I shared this fan film when it originally came out in 2020. Came across it again and though I'd share it again and do it with 5e Gambit stats.
This one is easy, because I don't have any current characters. I don't have any ongoing games. For that reason I'm going to put you to the supers setting that I've not focused on too much recently, but I'm creating because it has a lot of my characters (or at least my take on public domain characters, plus a few originals).

Going to be honest, sharing this page from Beware #01, just because of how ridiculous the ghost looks. Somehow, it looks like a ghost, a gorilla, and someone in a sheet pretending to be a ghost all at the same time.
Ice Nine Kills is one of my favorite bands. Their mix of metal and horror theatrics is phenomenal. Their latest video, The Shower Scene, dropped last week and it continues the ongoing story of their music videos wonderfully. Here's a hyperlinked list of the videos in order.
The Joe Bob Briggs cameo was great. I love that he did his drive-in totals schtick.
Alex Jones is a despicable person who has made a fortune on spreading lies and conspiracies, as well as spreading hatred towards the “radical left.” That’s why I’m extremely happy that his latest court case has been a clusterfuck of bad moves on his and his lawyers’ part.
I have another funny creation from Crosshead Studios. This time they’ve created a D&D npc that is based on Jones and all the insane BS he spews. You can see the original post here
Also enjoy some funny Jones-based tunes. The best part they are made up of his actual nonsense.
As I mentioned on Day 11, I'd love to live in Freedom City. It's just a great amalgamation of DC and Marvel comics. Instead of just one intriguing detail, I thought I'd direct y'all to this blog post by the creator, Steve Kenson, that reveals more than 30 homages included in the setting.
Also going to share this pic of me with Mr. Kenson at GenCon 2019, because I was so excited to meet him.
