October Horror Movie Challenge - Don't Look Now (1973)

Synopsis: A married couple grieving the recent death of their little daughter are in Venice when they encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom is a psychic and brings a warning from beyond.

The Good: This film is fantastic. The atmosphere and pacing is spot on. The repetition of certain images and motifs is brilliant (the repetition of red and water). The cast all deliver solid performances. Also, while this film is a thriller (with supernatural and horror elements), it is also a very poignant look at grief and parents dealing with the loss of a child.

The Bad: I'm not actually critiquing this as a scene, but I didn't need to see Donald Sutherland naked.

Final Thoughts: If you are looking for a thought provoking supernatural movie or something outside the norm, check this one out.

In Your Game: If you're playing a horror game, you could take your queue from this film. Foreshadow coming events by repeating certain themes and imagery.
