Upcoming Projects

Howdy folks,

Decided to give a little update on upcoming projects I'm working on.

Cade's Big Book O' Booze - other than delivery, I'm done with Cade's. We're waiting on one piece of art that we should have in the next day or so. Then we'll upload the pdf and get it out to backers. The file will be sent to the printer this weekend and zines should be in backers' hands by the end of September (the schedule delivery month).

3 Unnamed Bloat Games Projects - The Lone Bards are writing writing a book for Bloat Games and I'm helping with two other Bloat Games releases.

Vigilante Files: The Eternal Damned - This short pdf will be a serial numbers filed off Evil Dead supplement for Vigilante City. Will include details about the Eternal Damned and their master, the Abomination. It will also include new spells that anyone can cast and a gallery of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness inspired foes.

In Dark Shadows: Drunken Demons - This currently untitled Dark Streets & Darker Secrets scenario will involve the seeking out a pair of drunken demons who kind of like the world the way it is and don't want it to end.

Songs of the Glowhio - My second attempt at making an MCC/DCC zine, this Mutant Crawl Classics zine will be focused on the land of Glowhio and will be chocked full of Ohio-inspired content. I'd like to have the first issue submitted and approved by Goodman Games before Con on the Cob. I'll be running a Glowhio funnel there.

In Dark Shadows - Slimed!!!

In Dark Shadows - Slimed!!! is the newest release from The Lone Bards. Josh did the writing, artwork, and layout for it.

A demon lord of slime has taken over a setion of the slums and is turning people into hideous slime creatures. It's always hungry. Always growing....

Though designed for Old Skull Publishing's Dark Streets & Darker Secrets, it can be used with any OSR horror game. There will be a Vigilante City conversion coming out in a few weeks (which incidentally means there will be an unofficial Dark Places & Demogorgons version).

Drugula and the Silver Screen

Last week I mentioned The Lone Bards Dark Streets & Darker Secrets adventure Drugula and the Silver Screen. This morning we released a Vigilante City conversion of it under our Vigilante Files line.

The adventure is a free flow horror romp that centers around a vampire that snatches folks up, drugs them, and gets high off victims while feeding. Josh wrote the adventure and I did the Vigilante City stats. Crunchwise the adventure contains stats for Drugula, his drugged up ghoul minions, and a magical item with dark potential, the Heart of Max Schrek.

While the adventure was written with Vigilante City in mind, it makes a great Dark Places & Demogorgons adventure. You can take a bite out of the adventure by going to this link.

Creature Collection Blu Ray

I've talked about Stranded before. It is an upcoming bigfoot movie by Shawn Burkett and Concept Media LLC. Shawn is the man that directed the fantastic flick, Don't Fuck in the Woods. Currently Stranded is seeking funds via an Indigogo campaign. It's a flexible goal, so even if they don't reach it, they will get all of the money pledged. That being said, let's help make this film the best it can be.

Personally I'm at least going to go for the blu ray steelbook. I love steelbooks and I want one with a bigfoot print on it. I like some of the other collectibles too, so I might go for a few of them too. I recently one a cast of the bigfoot prop from a live auction they did a few weeks ago.

If you're new to Concept Media's work, I highly recommend the perk level pictured below. Forty-five dollars plus shipping is an amazing price for these movies. I've paid 20+ for my copies of Betsy and Don't Fuck in the Woods (which are both signed special editions). The flicks are fantastic indie horror pieces and great gaming inspiration (especially for things like Dark Places & Demogorgons, World of Darkness, or Dark Streets & Darker Secrets)

Dark Streets & Darker Secrets Kickstarter

Dark Streets & Darker Secrets is a new game on Kickstarter by my friend and the world's nicest gamer, Diogo Nogueira. It is a joint venture between Diogo's company, Old Skull Publishing and Gallant Knight Games. The game uses the streamlined system of Diogo's other games and sets them in a modern occult world. The game launched today, is only running for a week, and has already funded. If you like Supernatural, Buffy, or anything like that, check this out out. I know Diogo has been putting his heart into this one for a while and it's going to be fantastic!
