Marvel Rivals Invade The Multiverse

Marvel has been doing a lot of promotion for Marvel Rivals with their other games. Apparently that includes the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game.

You can download free content based on the game here. It includes new character sheets for the Marvel Rivals versions of Bruce Banner, Hero Hulk, Monster Hulk, Groot, Iron Man, Loki, Magik, Luna Snow, Magneto, Namor, Rocket Raccoon, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man (Peter Parker). Additionally there is a section of the Yggsgard Royal Palace battle mat with tokens, and a new game mode. Domination seems like a rules light tactical minis system to tack onto the game that mimics the Domination mode of the game.

Into The Multiverse

As y'all know I love superheroes. While most of my favorite characters and stories in the genre are from DC Comics, I love Marvel and other publishers too. The other day I shared info about the upcoming Deadpool comic/adventure for the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. I still haven't played or read through that game, but after making that post I remembered my friend Stew had a copy of it. I went to his house and he let me borrow it (well right now I'm borrowing it, but soon I will be buying it from him). I've only read through the first few chapters, but I think the game has some potential. After I give it a thorough reading I will post a review. 

I also already know what character I'm going to stat out to get used to the character creation rules. 

Deadpool Role-Plays the Marvel Universe

Deadpool & Wolverine debuts July 26th and (imho) Marvel has come up with a brilliant comic and game tie-in. Deadpool Role-Plays the Marvel Universe is a comic-sized fourth wall breaking one-shot adventure for the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. The one-shot will include a comic by Cullen Bunn (author of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe) and allow players to take the role of Deadpool and his team (or characters of their own creation).

This is an awesome format and is the same used by Limitless Adventures 5evo adventures. I've not played the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game yet, but I definitely want to give it a try. TBH, even if I don't end up getting the game, I will probably get this adventure because it's a cool idea.
