I know my posts have been few and far between. Lot of things draining my creativity and taking my focus at the moment. I'm not doing #Dungeon23, but have been working on #Zombie23. Not sure how I'm going to share that. Right now I'm thinking an update post either every two weeks or last day of the month.

I always laugh when zombie movies and shows refuse to ever use the word zombie. George Romero gets a past because he created the modern zombie genre and referred his as ghouls, but others folks, not so much.

Happy Valentine's Day

I'm watching my favorite romantic horror movies for Valentine's Day and among them Rec 3: Genesis is probably my favorite. Here's a review I did for the movie back in 2014. It contains stats for All Flesh Must Be Eaten.

Day 26: What RPG provides the most useful resources?


I thought about this one a bit longer than others because I wanted to really think about what "useful" means.  I'm going to give this one to All Flesh Must Be Eaten. This is because you can use the sourcebooks even if you don't want to play a zombie game. If you want to run a solid western game all you need is the core book and Fistful o' Zombies. Ignore the zombies and you have a gritty western. Take the zombies out of Pulp Zombies and you have an action packed pulp game. This is true of all of those books. They are very thorough and complete genre sourcebooks that just happen to be zombie themed.

Road Trip of the Damned!

I don't have any bi-weekly regular campaigns now. I still occasionally play board games with my group back home, but we don't do our Storm King's Thunder game. The same goes for my Columbus group. We still meet roughly bi-weekly, but instead of playing a regular campaign, we do a mix of board games, card games, and one-shots. 

This weekend I'm dusting off one of my favourite horror games, All Flesh Must Be Eaten. I have two one-shots for it, Coffee Break of the Damned and Road Trip of the Damned. I've ran Coffee Break, but never Road Trip, so that's the one I'm going with. Considering the group I have it should be a lot of fun. All I need is the pdf, but I'll probably bring copies of the core book and my Zombicide miniatures.

Sacred Soil Trailer?!

I give you the crazy trailer for the made-up movie, Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies and Giant Killer Plants on Some Serious Acid. The reason I'm sharing this, beside the obvious awesome factor, is that this is basically a trailer for one of the dead worlds in the All Flesh Must Be Eaten Core Rulebook. If you've got the book, read Sacred Soil again and then watch the trailer.

This looks insane and if it was a real movie, I'd definitely watch it.

They can be removed with a very difficult application of a medical skill (which will also do damage as the worm is cut from the victim). Spawn of Kyuss can also infect already dead corpses with these worms.
