October Horror Movie Challenge - Bride of Re-Animator (1989)

Synopsis: Eight months after the Miskatonic Massacre, Herbert and Dan return to Arkham to continue their experiments. This time not just satisfied with re-animating the dead, now they seek to create new life.


The Good: Everything? Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West, there's nothing better. Bruce Abbot as Dan Cain, also fantastic. The gore is fun. The plot is delightfully twisted.

The Bad: You will get no complaints about this film from me.

Final Thoughts: Last year I reviewed the first. You can read that post here. It's not my favorite in the series, but it's still fan-fuckin-tastic.

In Your Game: The Mad Scientist from Monsters Macabre is perfect if you want to add Herbert as an antagonist.  I personally would like to play a West-like character.
