October Horror Movie Challenge - Resident Evil (2002)

Synopsis: Alice wakes in a mansion with no idea how she got there or memories. Soon she discovers she's an agent of the Umbrella Corporation and must travel to the center of an underground complex known as the Hive.

The Good: While the later movies became over the top action fests with psychic powers and things (much like the games though I'm not sure if it's a chicken or egg thing), the first Resident Evil is a solid horror/action flick. This movie has one of the best modern horror scores in my opinion. The Hive looks really cool and to this day the Red Queen creeps me out.

The Bad: The two headliners, Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez are bad ass hot chicks, but not necessarily the greatest actress and their performances aren't Oscar worthy.

Final Thoughts: Like I said, it's not a great film, but it's solid and pretty true to the video game it's based on.

In Your Game:  Instead of statting out Alice, I thought it would be more fun to do a quicksheet for a T-Virus Zombie
