Synopsis: Two college friends join a group of tourists on a haunted bayou tour. The group gets more than they bargained for when they meet the infamous Victor Crowley.
The Good: Hatchet is a wonderful throwback slasher. It really does have the perfect combination of gore, thrills, humor, and breasts (notably from Buffy's Harmony). Kane Hodder is basically play a new version of Jason, but it works because he plays Jason well. Tony Todd and Robert Englund have cameos too.
The Bad: This movie is a big dumb slasher. I don't think that's a bad thing, but some folks won't appreciate it.
Final Thoughts: I've watched this movie several times. It's one of my fav slasher flicks.
