Synopsis: A yoga instructor looking for her conspiracy theorist brother (who believes Osama bin Laden is still alive somehow) teams up with a small group of NATO soldiers fighting zombies and insurgents.
The Good: Some of the characters are memorable and interesting. My favorite was Joker. The gun play looked pretty good. The plot and reason for the zombies isn't that ridiculous. Also, the film wasn't as blatantly racist as it could be. The film doesn't portray the general population of Afghanistan in a negative light, just the Taliban.
The Bad: For a movie about a zombified Osama bin Laden, he's only in the film for a few minutes. The plot is ludicrous. The acting is cheesy. The CGI tends to be really bad.
Final Thoughts: I bought this on blu-ray for a few bucks because "why not?" For a mindless zombie/action movie, it's okay. It's not great, but there are a few fun ideas here.
In Your Game: While I'd probably not use Islamic terrorists for the game, the basic premise of this film would be a great start for a zombie game. A terrorist faction discovers a zombie virus and unleashes its zombies on a populated area. As the film mentions, it's like a suicide bomber who's bomb just keeps going on. If you're using SURVIVE THIS!! Zombies! 2nd Edition, the zombies of this flick are Living Dead Zombies or Walkers.
