While I've hosted games at game shops, coffee houses, and conventions, there's no better place to play that home. Outside of special events, I don't game with strangers. If my game is going to be more than a one shot, it's going to be with friends and their friends they vouch for. It's just more relaxed to game at home and since I don't play with complete strangers it's a non-issue.
