Kyoufu Densetsu Kaiki! Frankenstein

Today I learned about this interesting piece of animation. It was created in 1981 by Toei Animation and licensed by Marvel Comics. It was based on their take on the character and Shelley's original novel. It was English dubbed and released in the US in 1984, by an Italian distributor. The film has bright animation, but is actually quite adult oriented and tragic.
