S is for Savini's Ash

Legendary horror make-up and VFX artist Tom Savini has designed a super goth/emo/edgy version of Ash for Evil Dead: The Game. This is the second version of the skin. The original was a Kickstarter exclusive and can be seen here. This isn't the first time Tom Savini has designed a limited edition skin for an asymmetrical horror game. He previous did so for Friday the 13th. You can see that design and my Cinematic Unisystem stats for it here.

Savini has said the skin was inspired by Edward Scissorhands and the cenobites. I can see that.

I have statted Savini's Ash as a playable hero. Technically he's more powerful than cannon Army of Darkness Ash, but he's got a lot more trauma and social issues.

Instead of being transported to the middle ages by Necronomicon Ex-Mortis this version of Ash was transported to the dimension in which evil itself originated. Exposed to unfathomable horrors within, he became psychologically corrupted over the course of his stay, which also affected his physical body.
