Atlanteans For OSE

This is my sixth class for my golden age OSE zine. I think I'm going to update the Brick from Light City: The Assembly and then start working on other aspects of the zine. 

Atlantean


Requirements: None 
Prime requisite: CON
Hit Dice: 1d8
Armour: Atlantean, shields
Weapons: Any, except firearms
Languages: Atlantean, one other language

Often thought to be creatures of myth, Atlanteans are aquatic descendants of survivors of a cataclysm that sunk their home. They have since spread through the oceans and seas of the world. While most appear as humans with elven-like features, gills and webbed digits generations interbreeding with merfolk, lizard men, and other aquatic humanoids means it’s not uncommon to see an Atlantean with a more inhuman appearance.  The Atlanteans are a proud warrior race, and because more than two thirds of the world are covered in oceans see themselves as the rightful rules of the Earth.

Infravision:
Atlanteans have infravision 90’.

Amphibious: 
Atlanteans can breathe air and underwater. Their movement is doubled in the water.

Strength of the Depths:
At 1st level, the Atlantean gets an additional 1d6 added to their strength (maximum 20).

Master of the Waves:
Atlanteans can communicate with aquatic and amphibious creatures (as if under the effects of Speak with Animals). At 5th level you gain the ability to influence (non-Atlantean) aquatic and amphibious creatures. You gain the ability to cast Charm Monster once per day on such creatures. You gain an additional usage of this Charm Monster at 10th level.

Combat:
Freedom of movement is important in aquatic combat, so Atlanteans will only wear variants of the specially made armor of their people. They can use any type of weapon.
