The Snake Pit is a new vampire scenario on Kickstarter. Created by Michael (aka Handbasket Games) it’s a one-shot that takes place in Arizona in ’99. Seeking refuge from a dust storm after a bad heist they soon find themselves caught in another vampiric crime.
This adventure sounds alike a lot of fun. Not much exploration in this one, but it seems like there’s a lot of great roleplay potential. The adventure is designed to be system neutral, so you can run it with Vampire: The Masquerade or your favorite vampire game. You could grab We Die Young (either SURVIVE THIS!! or OSE version) and make a party of vampires. Another option (and the one preferred by the author) is you could run this using his original vampire game, Bloodstarved. I hadn’t heard of the game before then, but I checked out the quickstart after discovering this project. I like what I’ve seen and am adding it as an add-on to my pledge.
I’m a physical media person so I’m going for the physical pledge. This gets you the adventure and poster map. One side will be a player facing map and the other is a poster of the book’s cover.
