October Horror Movie Challenge - Night of the Demons (2009)

Synopsis: In the early 20th centure the Broussard mansion of New Orleans was the site of a suicide and disappearance of six people. Now a group of friends go their for the ultimate house party, but soon they discover that the stories they've heard are more than just legend. Slowly demons, too evil for Hell, start possessing them one by one, in a bid to escape the mansion and enter our world.

The Good: I like the final girl, Monica Keena. You might remember her as Lori from Freddy vs. Jason. It was also cool to see Edward Furlong in a movie. Linnea Quigley has a quick cameo.

The Bad: The original Night of the Demons, wasn't good, but this one is just bad. It's probably a sign of the times, but the T&A that was prevalent in the original was cranked to 11.  Also, the weird lipstick nipple scene is back, but this time the possessed lady pulls the lipstick out of her vagina at the end of the trick.

Final Thoughts: Unless you really want to see Edward Furlong in a movie, you can probably pass on this one.

In Your Game:

Their origins are a little different, but like the demons of the first film, these fiends are essentially deadites. They do have a weakness to rust (which is explained) and can be held of with mystic symbols. I'd say they take double damage from rusty weapons.
