Light City - Super Gadgets

One thing that's not really been addressed in the supers hack +Jonathan Linneman and I have been working on is magic items and treasure. While they don't dungeon crawl, why can't heroes in Light City confiscate dangerous tech from villains or gain new equipment from friendly super scientists. I'm working on an equipment pdf for Light City, but until then here are a few iconic comic book items that you can use in your Light City game. 

Bat Shark Repellent (consumable) - This spray repels sharks for 3d6 rounds.

Captain America's Shield - This nearly indestructible shield provides a -2(+2) armor bonus and can be used as a weapon (dealing 1d6 damage). It can be thrown 50'  and will ricochet and return to the thrower (who must make a successful saving throw to catch it).

Nth Metal Weapon - Weapons made from this mysterious metal overcome all forms of damage reduction and allow their wielders to fly with a speed of 30'.


Smilex Canister (consumable) - Anyone exposed to this gas must make a saving throw or be paralyzed with laughter for 1d6 turns. In addition they take 1 hp of damage every turn they laugh.

Web Shooters - These wrist accouterments give the characters a climb speed of 12, swing speed of 30', and the ability to web up enemies (the equivalent of a web spell) 3/day
