Sightings of this cryptid date back to the 1800's so it seemed like a good critter for Six-Shooters & Wagons.
Ozark Howler

These bear sized creatures have thick body, stocky legs, shaggy hair, and horns. They live in remote areas of Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. They are named for their cry, which sounds like a strange hybrid of wolf howl and elk bugle.
Instead of attacking an Ozark Howler can howl. Anyone within 100 yards that hears that howl must making a saving throw or lose their next action out of fear.
