Synopsis: Set immediately after the first film, Jacob and his victims are transported to the city morgue, where a surprise birthday party is happening. For reasons never explained he is revived and continues his killing spree.
The Good: In many ways this one is a lot better than the original. I'm a fan of the Soska Sisters. The cast is much better. Scream Queens Danielle Harris and the always lovely Katharine Isabelle add delightful presence and eye candy. Kaj-Erik and Michael Eklund are entertaining as well.
The Bad: It's never quite explained why he comes back to life. That bugs me. I hated the both twists at the end. They've both been done too much in my opinion. Also, the morgue setting isn't as interesting as the hotel in the first.
Final Thoughts: I'm not going to say this movie was great, but it was entertaining and a solid slasher flick.
In Your Game:
Jacob Goodnight (Resurrected)
Armor Class: 14 Attack Damage: By weapon
Hit Dice: 8 Special: Stealth, Resurrection
Move: 12 Bonuses: +6 to Hit, +5 Toughness, +2 Damage
Attacks: 1 per Round HDE: 8
Jacob gets a +4 on any action to avoid being detected. When he would be reduced to 0 HP there is a 1-2 chance on 1d6 that his hit points reset to 10 HP and he is feigning death.
