The Taker of Souls
Also known as Shaitan and the Abomination, the Taker of Souls is one of the most powerful demons to inhabit the Deadites' home dimension. Rituals for summoning it can be found in the Necronomicon. It can only possess one deadite at a time, but it's deadites are different than those created by the Kandarian Demon. If the taker fully returns and has a host it is much stronger, but it's still nothing to be triffled with it it returns without a vessel.

Every time a character is damaged by a Deadite they most make a Critical saving throw or become possessed. It is possible to stop possession by severing the offending limbs. It is possible that certain rituals might also remove or at least suppressing a Deadites control of the body. In addition, anyone killed by a Deadite will rise as one.
The Taker can control vines and cause them to entangle and violate/infect humans. It takes a DC 15 strength check to break free of the vines. It takes the vines 3 turns to infect a mortal.

The Abomination is the Taker of Souls "true" form on the mortal plane. Even if it has no host, it will at least partially resemble its intended host. It is extremely strong and can even flip cars. It's touch is as hot as the flames of Hell. Like Deadites, the Taker of Souls needs to be dismembered (or at least bisected vertically) to be truly dispatched and those killed by it rise as Deadites.
The Taker can control vines and cause them to entangle and violate/infect humans. It takes a DC 15 strength check to break free of the vines. It takes the vines 3 turns to infect a mortal.
Shaitan is old Mid-Eastern term for Devil... (Shaitani. is plural)
