Limitless-Adventures just launched a new Kickstarter. 5th Evolution: Whitechapel takes the 5th edition D&D rules and tailors them to a campaign set in the late 19th century. Players will talk the roles of vigilantes tracking down the infamous Jack the Ripper in 1888. Like other 5th Evolution games the book will start with a short comic and then set up an adventure/campaign and give rules for making characters for it. I backed the previous 5th Evolution Kickstarter and was really happy with the results. While I'm not a big WWII tank fan I haven't reviewed it (not that I think the book is bad just not interested in genre), I loved Tunnel of Terror (80's Horror) and Carbide City #1 (supers)
While I definitely want to run the extended adventure in the book, I'm also grabbing this one to borrow ideas for some of my 5e horror games. You can pledge for just pdf, pdf and print, all 5th Evolution pdf, or all 5th Evolution pdf and print. Personally, I'm going to snag White Chapel print and pdf.
Am I correct in the fact that Carbide City doesn't allow you to make supers for 5E?
ReplyDeleteYou basically pick an archetype and customise it with premade options.
DeleteIt's funny after your comment I've gone back and looked through all of my 5Evo books again and I'm really wanting to try Carbide City out. I love 5e's system and though the characters aren't super customizable, I think they cover a broad spectrum and the system could do a good job at it.
